As screenwriters were involved – Yuri Patrenin, Dmitry Shutko, Olga Frenkel, Maria Tilles, Daria Pavlotos, Ksenia Miroshnik and Daria Moroz herself.
“Unearthly” is a project that combines the genres of romance and comedy, and the action takes place in a big city and is implemented in a stylish aesthetic of urban fantasy.

Every day the Angels of Death receive an extract from the Big Book, which describes the fate of people and the dates of their death. From these extracts, the angels learn the names of the clients, the people who are to die today, and the circumstances and causes of their death. The task of the angels is to be with the client at the time of his death and make sure that everything goes exactly as it is written in the Big Book. If one person for some reason does not die in due time or dies earlier, an error occurs in the balance of the universe.
Michael is a successful and deadly tired of life anesthesiologist-resuscitator. One ordinary evening, in an unremarkable bar, he meets an unearthly girl Ashu, whom he falls in love with without memory. Almost an angel. He doesn’t know that she is an angel. Angel of Death. His death.
Daria Moroz, director and co-writer of the script: Genre “Unearthly” is defined as “urban fantasy”, but at the same time it is a parable, and a fairy tale film, and love stories, and a grotesque black comedy populated by bright characters. The series tells about how love awakens the soul of a person living a comfortable, cynical life. After all, we begin to truly live only when we realize love, and in this awareness there are answers to all questions. In my opinion, a good movie is a great cure for loneliness and an incredible nourishment for the mind and heart of the viewer. The script of “Unearthly” hooked me with the depth of embedded thoughts and the audience’s message, with a very playful presentation in dialogues and situations. I think such fantasy stories rarely appear at all. And the great luck that to work with the text and to shoot the picture entrusted me. I am very grateful for this to the production team of the project.” Lisa Ishchenko, actress: “I love extraordinary projects where I challenge myself. We have finished shooting the bright, fiery, devilish-angelic series “Unearthly”, in which I have an incredibly interesting role. For me, this role is a gift for a new baggage of emotions and experiences. Dasha and I made my character layered, intricate, but at the same time clear, bright and easy.
Roman Evdokimov, actor: “For the first time in my life, I play a doctor. Despite the fact that I come from a family of doctors, I have not played them in movies. But our series is not about medicine, but about running away from yourself. My hero Michael is a talented anesthesiologist-resuscitator, his patients never die. This ability greatly hinders the angels of death, and they open the hunt for Michael. But the angel of death tasked with killing him falls in love with Michael. And because of this, a complete mess begins. At the same time, Michael, of course, is not only a talented doctor, but also … a rather superficial person who in the past was burned by love and now does not let anyone near him. All his relationships without emotional connection. And he will have to understand that love does exist, and although it can hurt, it is impossible without it.” The series is scheduled to premiere in 2025 at the KION online cinema.
