RESTRICTED SEASON

A small resort town at the seashore. There are cozy restaurants at the quay, homemade wine, fee fishing with motor boats. There are local “iconic figures” in the town: Gleb Valentinovich – semi legal businessman, owner of the restaurants and quay shops, and Sergey Voronets, the Police Station Head Officer who gets a regular “fee” from the same restaurants for securing them a peaceful life.

The town is living lazy and pleasant life until several strange deaths happen there – people who were healthy only yesterday dye in a couple of hours. An epidemiologist from the capital (Jack) is coming to the town. Gleb and his “crew” try to pick him up and to buy over: they are not interested if the tourist season will be closed.  But Jack is principled. However, he makes Gleb respect him for devotion to the cause and for the readiness to get involved in any fight. The only thing which remains unknown to Gleb is that the break with Jack had made Gleb’s young wife to leave Moscow some time before.
