SEAGULLS

“Seagull” is the name of the women’s volleyball team from Kaliningrad. Maxim Topol (Mikhail Porechenkov) is a sharp man, with a difficult, unyielding character, has to coach this team. He is determined to lead the girls to the national champion title. On the way to the victory he has not only to cope with himself and his complicated relationship with his teenage daughter, but also to solve the problems of his trainees. Each of them has their own destiny, iron character and personal worries, and they are all desperately fighting not only for the championship, but also for the right to be happy.
